"What does Jolly Eddy's mean to you?"

Jolly Eddy's means a lot t' me. 'S my business an' I sunk a lotta time int' makin' it happen. We're runnin' a damn good crew I'm proud t' work with, an' we're helpin' folk be more free, since they ain't gotta be so scared t' walk 'round.

"How has Jolly Eddy's helped Everglade?"

Jus' like I said, folks has more freedom cuz even if they ain't scrappers or whatever, they can call on us an' help 'em get 'round. Ain't gonna say we're makin' Everglade a safer place by a long shot an' I'unno that we oughta be, but for them folks that calls us we certainly make a differnce in their lives.

Naaah we ain't playin' politics an' shit. Listen, we jus' wanna help folk get from where they is t' where they's goin' so they can get on with their lives, yeah? Don't bother us none who they vote for or whatever.

"What made you found Jolly Eddy's?"

Well, when I first showed up in Genessia there was this bigass hullabaloo 'bout how humans wasn't legally 'lowed t' defend theirselves after dark. An' that's whaleshit. Don't matter who y' is, y' got a right t' fight for yer life, that's jus' natural. Think that law was gettin' walked back right then, but there was still a lotta folk that didn't dare, yanno? So I figured, well shit, sure would be a nice time t' have a nonhuman friend if y' gotta get yerself home from work, yanno? So that's where the idea started. Took me five years t' forever fillin' out all the damn paperwork, but we got shit started right when Grell rolled in all "humans gotta get out," so shit got real busy then with tryna get folk outta there an' through the gates. Then there was them turf wars 'twixt the werewolves an' the vampires an' that started gettin' us some other creatures callin' on us, cuz man it didn't matter who the hell y' was y' could get sucked int' that shit real easy, an' folk didn't wanna risk it, y' know?

At the same time, there wasn't a hell of a lotta bounties gettin' posted in the papers, an' they's runnin' dry on the bounty boards too. An' I figured it'd sure be nice for some a these bounty hunters if they had jus' a li'l bit a base income. Then if y' got hurt or some shit y' still got somethin' comin' in t' pay yer rent. So why not put the two a them things t'gether? Bounty Hunters or whoever can set their own hours an' work as much or as li'l as they wanna, an' Everglade gets a force a scrappy-types makin' friendly with them that needs a friend the most, y' know? Jus' made sense.
